Established in December 2008, "Raised to the Ground" are a 4 piece Metalcore band from the Irish midlands. Not deterred by the stigma of the genre, RTTG bring their own individual influences to the table to create a fusion of Heavy Ass Metal.
Formed when the 3 remaining members from their previous band "Reaper"; Sean, Eanna and Padraig invited Vocalist/Guitarist Conan into the group and "Raised to the Ground" was born...
They quickly established themselves as one of the up and coming Irish metal acts in their local scene playing their first few gigs with the likes of Hardcore Kings Roper, Doom Lords Five Will Die and Thrash Masters Soloway.
The recent signing to Death Cap Records UK for the distribution of their upcoming debut E.P "Risen From The Ashes" opens new doors of opportunity for the band and with UK dates immanent in the wake of the release, things can only get better for this young quartet...
