4bitten

4Bitten A perfect blend of Classic Rock , Blues and a  Sultry Voice to tie it all together. Have a listen to "Burning the Candle"

More on the Band

4Bitten is a hard rock band from Athens, Greece. Influenced by some of the rock titans of the last 4 decades such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Janis Joplin, Alice In Chains & Metallica, 4Bitten manage to craft a sound where so many others fall short :- authentic, solid, blues-based hard rock, written & performed by musicians true to their values as life-long rock fans.

~ "it's obvious that 4 Bitten have something special. Their timing couldn't be more perfect, with the cross-continent explosion of new, young blues-rock bands making it big in the charts; just think of The Answer or Black Stone Cherry, and 4Bitten fit in easily to that group" Room Thirteen webzine ~

4Bitten was originally formed in 2002. Each member had previously played in bands & lead vocalist, Fofi Roussos, learned her art in the mid-west of the United States before relocating to Greece. Having cut their teeth on the club circuit in Greece, the band's initial breakthrough happened in 2008 when Rock Hard magazine selected them to perform a track on their Kiss tribute album. Although 4Bitten was in its' early stages as a recording artist, they had without a doubt earned their stripes on the road & were more than ready to raise their game.

Encouraged by Rock Hard & the increasingly enthusiastic response to their live shows 4Bitten entered the Soundflakes studio in Athens, armed with a strong set of compositions, & recorded their debut album "No More Sins". The tracks were sent to Sterling Sound in New York for mastering & a remarkable album was born.

Thanks to the power of the web, contact was made with a number of record labels in different countries & amongst various offers UK label Rocksector Records was the one to fully recognize the potential & come up with the right worldwide deal. "No More Sins" was released in April 2009 & 4Bitten toured the UK on two occasions to promote the record. The second of these trips included several dates as main support band with the legendary Dan Reed (formerly of Dan Reed Network) who really took the band to heart & has remained a friend ever since.

~ "a tight bluesy classic rock sound & it's apparent how seriously accomplished they are as players.. early Whitesnake & Deep Purple influences" Fireworks magazine ~

Following the UK tours 4Bitten played in Athens as support to NWOBHM heroes The Tygers Of Pan Tang & also toured Greece opening for former-Iron Maiden frontman Blaze Bayley. This rounded off 2009 as a milestone year for the band.

With high spirits & an album full of songs that have the potential to spearhead this genre in the current decade, the band is now ready to hit the road again, bringing a classy presence wherever they play.

The Worshyp

From The Worshyps' Debut Album "Kindom Earth" Check out "Left for Dead"

The Worshyp are a Heavy Metal band based out of Toronto, Canada. The band’s founder Marz Nova named the band The Worshyp as a salute to how heavy metal fans love, and almost worship, their music as if it were a religion to them. The name has no ties to any real organized religion.
In the spring of 2010 Marz recruited Danish guitarist Thor Rune as well as bassist Mig Diablo & KK Devina both from Peru and former band members of Ex Iron Maiden Vocalist Paul Di'Anno. Singer/guitarist Marz Nova is from Toronto. The band's chemistry is based on strong vocal melodies sung over driving guitar riffs set to today’s lower tunings.
"I disliked the less melodic direction that modern heavy metal had been taking and I wanted to hear some riff driven traditional metal with today’s lower tunings. To that end I began writing the material for The Worshyp." Marz Nova - The Worshyp

Kingdom Earth, the debut album, was released in January 2011. The single “Left For Dead” is currently in beta testing to be released on the next version of RockBand.

Their latest album, Evil Abounds produced by legendary Glenn Robinson, is due to be released in late February 2012. The album features Jimmy DeGrasso, ex-Megadeth, on drums. Preview clips of the first four singles have been released on Reverbnation.

Forever Storm

Check out the new Track Paradox from their upcoming Album.

Serbian heavy metal band Forever Storm was established in the end of 2006, but pretensions for its creation existed from 2003, when Milos Miletic (rhythm and solo guitar) and Stefan Kovacevic (rhythm and solo guitar, vocals) first met. After some time, Vladimir Nestorovic (bass guitar) joined the band, and this lineup recorded a demo tape called “The Sign of Thunder”.

Finally, the lineup was completed, and Vuk Stefanovic (drums) joined the band, so Forever Storm started practicing in the beginning of 2007. In the same year, band had played on some of the biggest festivals in Serbia, like Exit, Zajecarska Gitarijada, Rock On and Rock Village, and toured across the whole country. In the middle of the year 2008 band participated on the international contest in Crvenka and won the first prize which included the money for recoding the first album. The album was finally completed after long nine moths in the studio (September 2007 – October 2008).The album cover artist is Bane Kerac, one of Serbia's best comic book artists (many of his works are well known in Europe and America). In the meanwhile Nikola Maric (keyboards) joined Forever Storm and now the band is promoting its first studio album “Soul Revolution” across Serbia. Band played on Wacken 2010, and in the Metal Battle contest won the 3rd place among 28 bands from all over the world.

Forever Storm recently participated in a live TV show called “Rat Bendova” on the Bosnian international television - OBN and made quite an impression, so the band played all over the region a while after the show. In the beginning of July this year band entered a contest and won at the Avala Rock fest, claming the prize that included the recording of a music video that will be shoot by the end of August

Bang Tango

78 Productions is happy to announce the return of Los Angeles based hard-rockin-glam band BANG TANGO and their new album “Pistol Whipped In The Bible Belt”.

Although Bang Tango was often lumped in with the whole 80's glam metal movement (perhaps due to their pretty-boy looks and the fact that they hailed from Los Angeles), the hard-rockin' quintet was one a few L.A. glam groups to incorporate funk into its sound - around the same time as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Faith No More made it acceptable to do so.

Their line up consisted of Joe Leste' (Vocals), Kyle Stevens (Guitar), Mark Knight (Guitar), Kyle Kyle (Bass), and Tigg Ketler (Drums), and piqued the interest of Mechanic/MCA shortly after the quintet issued their first in-concert recordings, 1987's "Live Injection". Their major-label debut, Psycho Cafe, was issued in 1989. MTV's Headbangers Ball gave significant air time to their single "Someone Like You", and eventually it became a mainstay on the dial MTV charts. The group continued to issue albums throughout the early 1990's including "Dancin' On Coals", "Ain't No Jive...Live!" and the critically acclaimed "Love After Death".

In 2000, Leste' formed a more modern-sounding alt-metal outfit, Beautiful Creatures, issuing a self-titled debut the same year on Warner Brothers. Beautiful Creatures toured as part of the 2001 Ozzfest as well as supporting KISS on a

number of dates.

Bang Tango has since produced three studio albums this decade. "Ready To Go" (2004), "From The Hip"(2006), and the latest release “Pistol Whipped in the Bible Belt” (2012)

Resistance Traitor promo

Check out Traitor The new Promo From Resistance.

This Belgian extreme metal outfit has been setting the tracks for world domination since July 2004, when the band was founded by Ben ( Bass ).

Intentionally, the band started out as a metal influenced straight forward hardcore band but after several line-up changes and new members bringing new influences to the table the band turned more and more into the full on death metal beast it is today, with only hints left to their hardcore background.

After years of playing shows and building up their name in Belgium and France and releasing their debut album « Trauma », the band feels they have finally arrived at where they always where wanted to be musicaly in 2006.

2008 comes with more agressive and powerfull stuffs, but intense melodies thrown in for good measure. Songs are a mix of extreme metal like death and black, and hardcore parts. Think of a mixture of bands like Kataklysm, All shall perish, Job for a cowboy, Machine head, Heaven shall burn, Meshuggah, …and you get an idea. « 2 sides of a modern world » was released through Alveran records in April 2008. Produced by Xavier Carion ( Channel zero ) and mastered by Jacob Hansen, these tracks are a modern day non-stop raging death metal at its best !

2009 begins with heavy dates supporting Sepultura and a 10-dates tour with extreme metal masters All Shall Perish. In September 2009 the band enters once again the Jonathas Studios with producer Xavier Carion to record their 3rd full record called LORDS OF TORMENT, mixed and mastered by J-F Dagenais ( Kataklysm, Despised icon ) in Montreal, Canada and signs a new record deal with GSR MUSIC.

The promotion of their 3rd album starts in January 2010 with a European tour supporting KATAKLYSM / BELPHEGOR / DARKEST HOUR for not more than 21 dates. The album is released on Feb 26th in all Europe and the band follows its promotion with some other gigs in Eastern Europe and in festivals such as Neurotic Death fest, Hellfest, Dour festival... In July, they headline a UK tour with their label mates: Forget to Forgive and in October, Resistance joins a new European tour with the legendary New-Yorkers: PRO-PAIN for 15 dates.

A Sound of Thunder
Posted On 12/16/2011 12:50:43

A Sound of Thunder is a Washington DC based, female fronted heavy metal band.

Their four piece band consists of Josh Schwartz on guitar, Nina Osegueda on vocals, Jesse Keen on bass, and Chris Haren on drums. A Sound of Thunder conquers metal realms ranging from '70s blues-based proto-metal a la Black Sabbath and early Judas Priest, to triumphant modern power metal a la Hammerfall and Primal Fear. Soaring vocals, incendiary instrumentals, and classic songs combine to form an unrelenting, unapologetic slab of metal to stand the test of time.

Folkmord Demo

Tune into the station and get a taste of the new demo from Folkmord

A brutal strike to the balls of authority and crazy live show that would blow the mind of any headbanger or mosher. This is the pure goal of this band’s music. Folkmord is a very new band to the metal scene, a band that started by the hands of Dennis Mehrabi in the spring of 2011. After a meticulous search for members to fit the band Folkmord (yet without a name though) started to make it’s first songs. The tempo is set very high in this band and we will never disappoint any crowd or fan of our music. The release of the bands first demo(ERROR 404: Democracy was not found) at the 1th of December is now the start of a career aimed for the stars. The band have already planned for a video release for late January and have planned gigs for all of the summer. Folkmord is here to stay.
