Don't forget to tune in to the Grammy's on Sunday. AC/DC are nominated in the category 'Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals' for "Rock 'N Roll Train". They are up against Coldplay, The Eagles, Kings of Leon, and Radiohead.
The Grammy's will air on CBS at 8 pm EST on Sunday (2/8).

4:57pm Just wanted to update this and say that it is sad his Grandmother did live to see the election. I'm sure she would have wanted him to keep campaigning today and tomorrow. but I am a skeptic and think that he should be grieving and not out making speeches on the day of his grandmother's death. IMO
Hannity: Ayers Dedicated Book to RFK Assassin and Other 'Political Prisoners' By Tim Graham ( Bio | Archive) October 31, 2008 - 08:06 ET  Here's one reason Barack Obama loathes Sean Hannity. On Thursday night's Hannity & Colmes came a new chapter in the Bill Ayers association controversy: An obscure Ayers manifesto from 1974 featured a dedication to "all political prisoners in the U.S." -- including one Sirhan Sirhan, the assassin of Robert F. Kennedy, a liberal Democratic icon to this day.
As Hannity indicated during the segment, the book was very difficult to obtain, with even the New York Public Library apparently unable to locate it. Radio Equalizer has the video, and more: Given Obama's extensive ties to Ayers, one would imagine they would prove damaging, but the issue so far has not resonated nationally. With this bombshell development, however, that may quickly change. The American people will want to know why Barack Obama associates so closely with a man who backs Robert F Kennedy's murderer, seeing him as a mere "political prisoner". That's a view so far out into fringe territory that it could give a Berkeley radical pause. When will Obama finally be forced to explain his association with this sick terrorist?

Since Halloween is approaching, and everyone in the BSC camp is in the harvest mood, we figured we'd share our joy and love of the holiday with their kickass fans! So here it is...
It's a "Dress Up Like BSC For Halloween Contest"! Whoever can dress up the best like us, will win a magnificent Halloween surprise box! Not just a box, but a special Halloween package! Oh yes, and it will be filled with not only a few goodies, but some cool BSC stuff, too! Maybe a shirt, poster, who knows what we'll come up with!
Anyway...Here's the rules..
"ALL entries must be turned in by Oct. 29th by 2 PM (CST) You can send it via e-mail (blackstonecherryband@yahoo.com), by myspace message, OR you can score bonus brownie points by incorporating YouTube in your entry!
Anyway, you can be in groups of 4, to show EACH member, or you can do it by yourself, but you'll have to dress up 4 different times to be each guy!
So get to thinking everyone and get your ideas together! You can re-create press photos, live photos, or album covers!

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE bassist Mike D'Antonio told MTV's Metal File in August that the New England-based band would enter the studio this month to begin work on its next album, with plans to release the disc in early 2009. D'Antonio remarked, "When we start on this next one, we'll just bring our demos to practice, and we'll listen to them, judge them and start rearranging the parts that need to be rearranged — or we just start jamming on what sounds cool." The bassist added that most of the material he's written so far for the project sounds "fast."
The group expects to hit the road next March in support of the CD.
The new disc will follow KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's 2006 album, "As Daylight Dies". The band's cover of DIO's "Holy Diver", issued on the special edition of the CD, became a surprise Top 10 rock radio hit late last year.

Slayer To Film New Live DVD And Perform "Reign In Blood" in London  Band Photo: Slayer Thrash metal gods Slayer has made two important announcements regarding the bands shows in London soon. The first is that on the first night in London, the band will perform their classic 1986 album, "Reign In Blood" from start to finish. On the second night in London, the band will be filming the concert for a brand new live DVD. The band will also be performing the whole "Reign In Blood" album at both Swedish shows. This is part of the Unholy Alliance tour with Trivium, Mastodon and Amon Amarth which is currently trekking across Europe. More details will follow soon.

Release Date Confirmed For New Guns N Roses Album Chinese Democracy?  Band Photo: Guns N Roses According to Hits Daily Double, Guns N Roses's new album, "Chinese Democracy" will hit Best Buy shelves on November 23rd. Hits Daily Double is companion site of tip sheet Hits. Guns N Roses will have a new song entitled, "If The World" featured in the ending credits of the new movie, "Body Of Lies" which stars Russel Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio
I guess I'll believe it when I see it.

Metallica Fans Petition For Remix Of New Metallica Album, "Death Magnetic"  Band Photo: Metallica According to Mark Fleischmann from HomeTheaterMag.com, thousands of METALLICA fans have signed a petition begging the band to remix its new album Death Magnetic, citing poor sound quality. So far the petition has gained over 13,000 signatures. The petition states: "Death Magnetic is a fantastic effort from Metallica, however many of us are disappointed by the poor audio quality present on the album. Please sign this petition so that we can hopefully either get it remastered, or re-mixed, depending on where the problems occurred at some point, or to ensure that the next Metallica album does not suffer from the same issues, or get caught up in the loudness war that is ruining modern music."
